Affordable Junk Removal offers full-service refuse hauling ranging from pick-up and removal of a single item to whole-house cleanout. Our green approach to removal and disposal enables us to remove and dispose of your items in the most environmentally friendly and cost-efficient manner, allowing us to pass on the savings to you.
Being full-service, we do all the work—you don’t lift a finger. We will remove what you want removed, tidy the area, and haul the junk away for disposal. Simple point to the items you want to get rid of and let us do the rest.
We are locally owned and operated, meaning you need not pay the expensive overhead charges imposed by large competitors. That enables us to set affordable rates, passing the savings to you.
What Do You Need?
Each customer’s needs vary, from a contractor requiring the cheapest 15-yard dumpster rental to an estate’s heirs needing an entire house cleaned out to a homeowner who simply wants a single large item hauled away. Our service levels accommodate all such requests:
- Single Item Pickup: Whether it’s a sofa, boiler, or any other single item, we will remove it quickly and easily.
- Multi-item Pickup: If you have a garage, basement, or yard full of clutter and unwanted junk, call us for a free estimate. Our professional, uniformed representatives will collect those items and remove them promptly. You need not lift a finger!
- Whole House Clean-out: If you’re moving, selling, or dealing with an estate, Affordable Junk Removal is your most cost-efficient solution to clear the space. Not only will we remove the clutter of stuff, but we’ll sweep the cleared area. Nobody does this faster!
- Dumpster Services: Affordable Junk Removal rents 10- and 15-yard dumpsters at the lowest prices—a week’s rental is only $499. You clear out the space and we haul all that junk away for you!
- Commercial Clean-out: In business, time is money, and you do not want to waste time clearing out space and getting rid of obsolete furniture and equipment. Just point to what you want removed and we’ll do the rest!
- Standard Junk Removal: You don’t lift a finger beyond pointing at what you want us to remove. We do all the work: loading, cleaning, and hauling.
What We Can and Can’t Remove for Disposal
We remove furniture, electronics, and appliances; however, there are, of course, limits. We limit each truckload to 2,000 pounds. Because we recycle wherever and whenever possible, we can pick up and remove for an additional charge many of these core items prohibited for disposal in landfills:
- Mattresses and box springs. Removal of box springs and mattresses is $75 per item. We provide separate pick-up services for mattresses and box springs. Because these items are prohibited in dumpsters, such items found will incur an additional charge of $150 for each. Call us for a quote or visit our recycling page for drop-off rates.
- Large appliances such as air conditioners, washers, dryers, stoves, dishwashers, water coolers, water heaters, televisions, computer monitors, refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, anything with freon, and tires are charged at $50 each.
- Paint. Latex and oil-based paints still in a fluid state are $10 per gallon container.
Commercial transfer stations charge these additional fees to meet state recycling guidelines and will not accept these items without payment. Affordable Junk Removal does not mark up these fees.
Prohibited items include oil-based paints, flammable solvents, gasoline, oil, and any hazardous fluids. However, we can and do accept fully dried latex paint at no extra charge.
The state’s waste ban minimally affects the average homeowner or business owner clearing out space. Affordable Junk Removal offers an array of services to accommodate the type and quantity of refuse to be removed and/or recycled.
